SFS provided design services for the renovation of the south wing of the first floor of the historic downtown Jackson County Courthouse for a new jury assembly room so the County can provide ample and appropriate space for selecting and vetting jurors for various legal proceedings. The design will create a vibrant environment with modern amenities, that is ADA compliant, and sensitive to the historic typology of the building. When not in use for the Courts, the area will be utilized as multipurpose space for County use such as town halls, legislative meetings, exhibitions and press conferences. The County is currently selecting a Construction Manager to bid and construct the project.
