Grain Valley, Missouri
SFS, as part of a design-build team, is working with the Central Jackson County Fire Protection District to design and construct the new 16,000 square foot fire station. Major program elements include four double deep drive through bays that include heavy rescue, 24-hour living quarters for eight personnel, gender neutral facilities, private individual sleeping quarters with separated but direct access to the 3-shift lockers, and a captain’s suite.
The District’s goals for the station include design of a facility that makes first responder’s health a priority and expands operational capabilities.
Construction is currently underway.
