Following a feasibility study conducted by SFS Architecture for a new civic recreation center, the design team worked with the Board of Aldermen to program, develop conceptual options, costs and potential sites for the new facility. The City Council and City of Raymore concluded that the community would be better served by several strategically placed facilities rather than one large facility.
SFS continued working with the City of Raymore to design a new 16,000 square foot activity center to replace the Park House at Raymore's Recreation Park. The center includes a multipurpose gymnasium for sports and community gathering activities, classroom and studio space for parks and recreation programs, catering kitchen, offices and other support spaces.
