FF&E services for the GSA Region 6 headquarters

Following the completion of several workplace studies completed under an IDIQ contract with GSA, SFS collaborated with a lessor team to transform existing commercial office space into high performance workspace for more than 900 Federal employees. FF&E focused workshops were facilitated with GSA leaders, user group representatives and lessor’s architect to identify and evaluate options. SFS organized tours of furniture showrooms and manufacturing facilities to benchmark systems and worked with manufacturer representatives to mock up and test furniture concepts. SFS developed a final FF&E plan that incorporated both new and existing furniture; coordinated finishes with furniture; developed RFQ packages for the procurement of new furniture (workstations, desk chairs, conference and ancillary pieces) and finishes; and oversaw installation of FF&E components.
