SFS Architecture collaborated with the City of O’Fallon to plan and design improvements to Civic Park, including the renovation and expansion of Alligator’s Creek Aquatic Center. Improvements include an expanded open water swimming area, waterwalk, leisure pool with zero-depth entry, lazy river with large underwater bench area, family-friendly whirlpool, interactive play features, multi-play structure, and a 3,600 square foot bathhouse. In addition, an interactive water playground is connected to the aquatic center.
Additional park improvements include the new Krekel Civic Center, also designed by SFS, a park shelter, stormwater management facilities and reconfigured parking lots.
