Modern, efficient, healthy, and sustainable workplace meeting Federal workplace standards and mandates

SFS, in collaboration with BRS Architecture, refined the space program and designed plans for the phased renovation and modernization of Building 85 at the Denver Federal Center to accommodate the reconfiguration of space for 433 employees of the Office of Natural Resources Revenue (ONRR). The design for the 85,430 square foot space creates a modern, efficient, healthy, and sustainable workplace. Serving as the primary circulation spine and central display area, Main Street connects the various departments within the facility. Open office spaces are along the perimeter of the building and private offices are located toward the core, allowing natural daylight to permeate the entire open office space. The main conference room is easily accessible from the lobby, auditorium, and Main Street breakroom. Other improvements include updated electrical and mechanical systems and technology, A/V, and telecommunications.
