Raymore Activity Center

Following a feasibility study conducted by SFS for a new civic recreation center, the team worked with the Board of Aldermen to program, develop conceptual options, costs and potential site(s) for the new facility. The conclusion was reached by the City Council and City of Raymore that the community would be better served by several strategically placed facilities rather than one large facility.

SFS Architecture continued working with the City of Raymore to design a new 16,000 square foot activity center to replace the Park House at Raymore’s Recreation Park. The Activity Center includes a multipurpose gymnasium for sports and community gathering activities, classroom space for parks and recreation programs, catering kitchen, offices and other support spaces.
