Representatives from the City of Lenexa, Kansas and community members gathered today for the grand reopening of the Sar-Ko-Par Aquatic Center. Improvements include a 25-meter competition pool and dive well, 40-foot slide tower with two slides, 480-foot lazy river with action channel, and zero-depth entry pool with play structure. SFS Architecture designed a new entry breezeway and administration building, and renovated the existing bathhouse, concessions, mechanical buildings and shade structures.
SFS was on hand to celebrate the occasion and congratulate the project team.
