Thompson Center - Concept Study (2021)

Columbia, Missouri

SFS Architecture was recently hired to develop conceptual illustrations and presentation materials for the Thompson Foundation for Autism’s fundraising and awareness endeavor for a new facility. The new facility is intended to consolidate and expand the Thompson Center’s current therapeutic programs and potentially introduce new programs focused on providing assistance with transitioning to early independent living for their clients as they age out of adolescent therapies. A modernized facility is envisioned, which will further the mission, enrich the Thompson Center’s clients’ experience and create a world-class work environment to attract and retain staff of the highest caliber talent. Deliverables, including a high-level program, a conceptual site plan, blocking plans, and interior and exterior renderings, will give the Thompson Foundation for Autism the marketing tools and flexibility to raise awareness, excitement and financial support.
