Transformation of space to create workspace supporting MCCS’ Marines-focused mission

 

U.S. Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is a comprehensive set of programs that support and enhance the operational readiness, warfighting capabilities, and life quality of Marines, their families, retirees and civilians. Approximately 25,000 square feet of space within the 2306 E. Bannister Federal Building was renovated to create workspace to support the important mission of MCCS. Spaces include private offices, open offices, break room, storage and work room, administrative support space including four conference rooms/training room and two reception areas.  In addition, a collaborative zone with multiple furniture types/configurations for flexible collaboration requirements is provided, as well as “Just in Time” rooms for impromptu meetings/calls.
