  • Recreation Park Activity Center

    Raymore, MO

New Activity Center improves community recreation amenities and adds character to existing park site

Design a new Activity Center to replace the current “Park House” at Raymore’s Recreation Park

Phase 1 services included meeting with Raymore staff to refine preferred interior and exterior program elements to be included in the Activity Center; developing priority program elements; analyzing site location parameters and relationship with other existing park elements; developing a Space Program; and preparing concept options with cost information. 3-D renderings were also developed to assist with pre-referendum services. With successful passage of the referendum, the team is continuing with Phase 2 services, including schematic design, design development, construction documents, quality control and permit review, bidding and contract award, construction administration and training.

The new Activity Center will include multi-purpose gymnasium space for sports and community gathering, classroom/studio space for parks and recreation programs, catering kitchen, offices and other support spaces.
