    Improvements to a 1950s era municipal swimming pool based on master plan developed by the firm in collaboration with City officials and community representatives


    Develop a master plan outlining strategies for improving the municipal pool through new and improved structures, water features and equipment and the incorporation of sustainable design solutions


    Closely worked with City officials and recreation committee to understand current conditions of existing structures, pool and equipment; determined immediate needs; and developed long-term goals. Developed multiple options with associated costs to assist the client in selecting the final option. Provided information, plans and renderings to communicate project concepts to voters in advance of a referendum to finance the improvements. Voters approved the referendum and the new and improved aquatic center opened to the public Memorial Day 2015.


    Improvements to the pool include a new bathhouse and multipurpose community room that can be used year-round; zero-depth entry, toddler area and water features; new pool deck, additional lighting and shade features; improvements to the pump house.
